OppiKoppi is the biggest multiple day music festival held in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, near the mining town of Northam. Although the festival started off focusing mostly on rock music, more genres were soon added and now plays host to roughly 160 sets of international and South African music and entertainment acts of all genres including rock, hip hop, hardcore, punk, ska, folk, blues, drum ‘n bass, big beats, kwaito, jazz, funk, traditional, world music, comedy, metal, indie, house and other genres. OppiKoppi has always been at the forefront of what is happening in the socio-economic and political contexts in South Africa, doing it’s part to change the country and bringing people together in a spontaneous/natural way.

Download the free official app to stay in the loop with all OppiKoppi social media, line-up times, find your friends using the find-a-friend capability on the map screen, stay up to date with any set time changes throughout the weekend and much more.

SIGN-IN
To access some of the above features you will need Internet connectivity and be asked to register for an account or sign in using Facebook or Twitter and give permission for storing your ID on our servers.

LOCATION SERVICES
To enable Find-a-Friend to work, you will need to allow the app to access your Contacts as well as location when running in the background.

BATTERY
Continued use of location services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This App has been designed to minimise the impact on your battery life and in most cases will be unnoticeable, but results may vary based on network conditions and usage.

BLUETOOTH
Bluetooth is used so your app can get messages and offers from locations that use beacons.

SUPPORT
Should you have any support questions about the app, please send an email to [email protected] with your iPhone model and a description of the problem.
